Appdrawn is a top software development agency that specialises in creating bespoke web and mobile apps for a variety of business functions.

After retaining the previous branding for a number of years, and the company having seen a large amount of growth, it was time for a refresh. As the sole digital designer in the company, I was tasked with leading the rebrand with a new modern logo design and an updated website.

To design the logo I used Adobe Illustrator and after many iterations I arrived at our final version. I used a cleaner and more modern font, and the icon represents the upwards trajectory of a graph to reflect the main aim of the company - growth and looking forward. Using Adobe After Effects, I also created the below animated version of the logo.

To design the website, I used Adobe XD for mockups and worked alongside the marketing manager and copywriter to create new content. When formulating design ideas, I was inspired by other digital agency websites and wanted to create something that looked more engaging and contemporary, and to also reflect the innovative nature of the line of business that Appdrawn operates in. Once designs were finalised, I built the website using HTML and CSS (Bootstrap framework) within a React.js app.

Alongside the new logo and website, I worked on creating a consistent look and feel of Appdrawn's social media posts to reflect the new branding. Working with the marketing team, in a year, we have managed to double the amount of social media content that the company puts out. This has since seen an increase in the engagement and interest in Appdrawn. I use a social media management tool called Sendible to schedule and monitor posts.
